The details
Eight lines
- Read-only
- Bukits can see balances and transactions. It cannot move money, pay bills or open anything.
- Your bank password
- Never touches Bukits. You sign in with your bank inside Plaid's window; Bukits receives a read-only connection.
- Bank connections
- Encrypted at rest.
- Or don't link at all
- Import a QFX, OFX or CSV statement from your bank instead.
- The AI
- Sees as little as possible, and only after you say yes. Sent: merchant name, amount, how often it repeats, your bank's category. Never sent: account numbers, balances, raw statement lines, names of people in your household.
- Nothing is overwritten
- Every change is recorded with who made it and when, so "why is this in Dining out?" always has an answer.
- Household invitations
- Only the owner invites people. An invitation link works once, for 7 days, and only for the email it was sent to.
- You stay in control
- We never cancel, call or negotiate as you. Bukits tells you what to do next and checks the result on your next statement.

Is it safe to link my bank?
Bukits is read-only: it can see transactions and balances, never move money. You sign in through Plaid, so your bank password never reaches Bukits. Prefer not to link? Import a statement file instead.
What does the AI see?
The merchant name, the amount, how often it repeats and your bank's category, only after you say yes. Never account numbers, balances or names.
Will Bukits cancel things for me?
No. It finds what you could cut and tells you what to do next (step-by-step cancel guides are coming soon). When you've done it, tap "I cancelled it" and Bukits checks your next statement to confirm the charge stopped.
Who can join my household?
Only people the owner invites. Each invitation link works once, for 7 days, and only for the email it was sent to. Every change after that shows who made it.

Import a QFX, OFX or CSV statement. Bukits reads most bank exports.
